MOTIM STUDIO - SCALE ARCHITECTURAL MODELS

Location: Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
Physical models in scales 1:43, 1:100, 1:33 and 1:25. Manual team work, where the plans are read, the base is ordered from a carpentry shop with pre-established measurements and following the needs of the project, the drawings are redone and adjusted with fitting planning, study of the materials to find the scale suitable, printed on the laser cutting machine, pre-assembled, sanded, painted, fit tested, glued and then finished. Some models have electrical lighting that will depend on the complexity of the project to know the appropriate time to install. Landscaping and humanization are carried out after the construction and finishing stage of the building.
Tasks: I participated in all the stages mentioned above, at different times and work schedules.
Softwares: Autocad, laser cutting printer.

Maquetes físicas em escalas 1:43, 1:100, 1:33 e 1:25. Trabalho manual em equipe, onde é feita a leitura das plantas, a base é encomendada em uma marcenaria com as medidas pré estabelecidas e seguindo as necessidades do projeto, os desenhos são refeitos e ajustados com planejamento de encaixes, estudo dos materiais para encontrar a escala adequada, impressos na maquina de corte a laser, pré montados, lixados, pintados, feito teste de encaixe, colados e então feito o acabamento. Algumas maquetes possuem iluminações elétricas que vão depender da complexidade do projeto para saber o momento adequado de instalar. O paisagismo e humanização são feitos após a etapa de levamentamento e acabamento do edifício.
Trabalhos: Participei de todas as etapas citadas acima, em diferentes momentos e escalas de trabalho.
